Membership Benefits

The purpose of the AHAC is to act as a unified voice and advocate for its members, and to continue to find innovative and unique ways to promote and support the arts. As an artist, a business, or a not-for-profit organization, you show your support for the arts and the Almaguin Highlands region with your AHAC membership.

 

  • A listing in the print Arts Directory.
  • An opportunity to purchase an enhanced listing in the print Arts Directory which includes a photograph or logo and description of your arts practice, business or organization; directions to your studio/place of business; plus a locator marker on the map (if you have a location that people can visit).
  •  A listing on the Arts Council website including linkage to personal website.
  • An opportunity to purchase a web page on AHAC website.
  • The opportunity to promote your events, workshops, website, news, job postings on the Arts Council website.
  • The opportunity to participate in AHAC community events.
  • Information about funding, resources, competitions, requests for proposals for artists and arts organizations and arts businesses.
  • A vote at the Annual General Meeting.
  • A voice to advocate and promote arts, culture and heritage in Almaguin Highlands.
  • An information service to the public about the services, skills and products provided by members of the Arts Council.
  • Collaboration with other organizations to promote the arts, culture and heritage.
